As a Mechanical Installations Team Leader, you are responsible for the daily management and coordination of activities within various installation projects. You ensure that your team knows what needs to be done and that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to agreement.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Managing, guiding, and motivating technicians and engineers;

• Coordinating and distributing activities within mechanical installation projects;

• Monitoring planning, progress, quality, safety, and costs;

• Coordinating with project managers, work preparers, clients, and suppliers;

• Ensuring that materials, information, and resources are available in a timely manner;

• Thinking along about technical issues regarding climate installations, heating, and air handling;

• Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to more efficient work processes;

• Maintaining good contacts with customers and other involved parties.

You are close to the technology, but at the same time maintain an overview of the bigger picture. Thanks to your commitment, the technicians can perform their work well and projects are successfully delivered.

You have a solid technical foundation within mechanical installation technology and enjoy managing and helping colleagues. You can organize well, communicate clearly, and know how to maintain an overview even in unexpected situations.

Additionally, you recognize yourself in the following:

• A completed MBO or HBO education in the direction of installation technology, mechanical engineering, or similar;

• Several years of work experience within mechanical installation technology, for example as a First-Class Technician, Lead Technician, or Team Leader;

• Knowledge of building-related installations, such as heating installations, climate installations, and air handling;

• Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate colleagues;

• Organizational insight and a good sense of planning and quality;

• Good communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude;

• A proactive attitude and the ability to solve technical and organizational challenges.
