Salesmanager

You walk into the office in Heerhugowaard and join the weekly meeting with account managers and proposal engineers. There is a request for a security solution at a logistics location, an account manager is discussing a maintenance process with an existing client, and a proposal engineer is working on a complex quotation. You oversee the whole picture and help the team make the right choices.

As Salesmanager, you work from the PBT head office in Heerhugowaard. You are responsible for the commercial direction of the organization and lead a team of account managers and proposal engineers. Thanks to your experience within security technology, you understand both the customers' issues and the technical challenges behind security, fire safety, and service solutions.

PBT is a technical specialist with over 100 employees and branches in Heerhugowaard, Ter Aar, and Blaricum. We design, implement, and maintain security and fire safety solutions for organizations where safety, continuity, and reliability are essential. Within PBT, there are no complicated management layers, but rather short lines, a lot of craftsmanship, and colleagues who are there for one another. From Heerhugowaard, you work daily with colleagues from engineering, project management, service, and commerce to provide customers with the right solution.

As Salesmanager, you are responsible for managing the commercial team and achieving the commercial objectives of PBT.

• You lead 4 account managers and 5 proposal engineers

• You translate commercial objectives into concrete actions and team results

• You monitor the quality, progress, and completeness of quotations and commercial processes

• You think along with your team about technical and commercial solutions for customers

• You analyze sales results, market developments, and commercial opportunities

• You visit important customers and invest in long-term relationships

• You work closely with other departments to achieve commercial and operational objectives

• Knowledge of technical security solutions, service provision, and project-based services
