The role

Are you an experienced refrigeration technician who loves to take the lead? As Lead Refrigeration Technician at Frimex, you will direct your colleagues on projects for well-known names such as Albert Heijn, Jumbo, and Holland Casino. You will work on projects lasting an average of one to four weeks. Therefore, it is highly varied: a new project, a new team, a new technical challenge.

You are technically strong yourself, but you no longer have to stand with your tools in your hands all day. Your main focus is ensuring that the work on-site runs smoothly.

What you'll do

On-site, you are the one who maintains the overview. You know what needs to be done, distribute the work, and ensure your technicians can continue. Meanwhile, you coordinate with project management regarding planning, materials, and progress.

You will, among other things:

Coordinate refrigeration technology projects on-site.
Direct, supervise, and motivate technicians.
Create and monitor the daily planning.
Ensure that materials and equipment are available on time.
Monitoring quality, safety, and progress.
Coordinate with project management, suppliers, and other parties on-site.
Ensure that the project is delivered neatly and on time.

Our projects last an average of one to four weeks. This means you won't be at the same construction site for months and you will quickly see the result of what you and your team have achieved.
