All-round Technician (3 shifts)

The technical service plays an important role in this. Because when a machine stands still, you must be able to rely on people who understand the technology, investigate malfunctions, and know how to get the production process running again.

As an All-round Technician, you are responsible for the technical functioning of our production machines and installations in Joure. You work on diverse malfunctions and maintenance issues, where mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and control technology converge. You analyze what is happening, determine which tasks are necessary, and ensure safe and professional execution. In doing so, you look beyond the immediate solution: you signal recurring problems and contribute ideas for improvements that increase the reliability of our machines.

You work closely with colleagues from the technical service and the operators. You coordinate maintenance and repairs with production and record your activities in the systems used for that purpose. In this way, you contribute to solving malfunctions and also to preventing them. You work in a 3-shift service and are willing to work according to this schedule.

What are you going to do?

• You perform preventive maintenance on machines and installations to prevent wear, defects, and unplanned downtime;
• You analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control technology malfunctions, so that production lines are operational again as quickly and safely as possible;
• You perform repairs and component replacements and check whether machines function correctly again after completion;
• You investigate the causes of recurring malfunctions and propose technical improvements to increase the reliability of production equipment;
• You register maintenance and malfunctions in ERP systems and coordinate activities with operators and colleagues from the technical service.

You are a technician who enjoys working with technology and derives satisfaction from solving complex malfunctions. You can reason logically, work systematically, and want to understand why a machine is not functioning properly. You work independently where possible, involve colleagues where necessary, and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
