Are you technically strong, do you maintain an overview, and do you enjoy being involved in a project from the very first customer contact? Then we have a great position for you at Westerdijk Delfzijl.

As an Estimator-Work Preparer, you will work on projects within electrical and installation technology. Westerdijk works for residential, utility, and industrial sectors, combining years of experience with modern and sustainable installation technologies.

You inventory the assignment, perform the estimation, and prepare the quote. Does Westerdijk receive the assignment? Then you ensure good preparation, create the planning, and arrange the necessary orders. This way, you are closely involved in the project from the inquiry to the execution.

As an Estimator-Work Preparer, you are an important point of contact for customers and ensure that projects can start with good technical and organizational preparation.

What you'll do

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Inventorying assignments after the first contact with the potential client;

  • Performing estimations for projects within electrical and installation technology;

  • Preparing quotes and discussing them with the customer where necessary;

  • Preparing projects after an assignment has been awarded;

  • Creating and monitoring the project planning;

  • Placing the necessary orders;

  • Maintaining contact with customers throughout the process;

  • Independently reporting on your activities and projects.

In short: you ensure that an inquiry is translated into a good estimation, a clear quote, and a project that can start with good preparation.

You are technically proficient, reliable, and work in a structured manner. You can work independently, but you also find it pleasant to have regular contact with customers and colleagues.

Because you are an important point of contact for clients, you communicate easily and know how to represent Westerdijk professionally.
