As a Junior VAT Tax Advisor with affinity for Tax Technology, you work in a close-knit team of 5+ colleagues, where a good working atmosphere is high on the agenda. You prepare (complex) VAT returns and reclaim foreign VAT. If you are interested in data analysis and statistical sampling, you may take this further. Utilizing and deploying technology and data analyses (in our processes) is something in which you like to take the lead. You are the one who ensures that the department has an optimal interplay between processes, information, and data analyses and organizes this in a demonstrably compliant and adaptive manner for the future.

A glimpse of your tasks:

• You collect and verify relevant financial data and ensure timely submission to the Tax Authorities;

• You prepare periodic reports regarding the VAT activities of clients, to comply with legal requirements and to provide insight into the financial situation;

• You utilize technology and data analyses;

• You have an eye for controllability, frameworks, and policy, and you help ensure that the formal (filing) processes in our organization are in order and align with reality. Through your help, we are demonstrably compliant;

• You work on professional development through training, workshops, and obtaining relevant certifications to build expertise and stay up to date with trends and developments in the sector.
