3 to 5 years of relevant experience in tax practice, with a focus on VAT

The role

Newtone is looking for an enterprising and expert Tax Advisor with a specialization in VAT. Do you already have several years of experience in tax practice, a sharp eye for optimization, and are you ready for a next step with more responsibility? Then you are the one we are looking for!

As a VAT Tax Advisor, you take the lead in advising clients on complex VAT issues. You switch effortlessly between strategy and execution and are an indispensable sparring partner for both clients and colleagues. You will receive plenty of room to further deepen and share your expertise.

What you'll do

Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will work on challenging and strategic VAT projects. You will independently take on advisory trajectories, coordinate implementations, and act as a point of contact for both clients and junior colleagues. You translate tax issues into concrete solutions and know how to effectively utilize laws and regulations.

What you will do

You independently perform in-depth analyses of VAT issues and translate these into high-quality advice.
You coordinate and supervise implementation processes, providing strategic and practical support to the client.
You maintain your own client portfolio and build strong relationships with existing and new clients.
You act as a mentor for junior team members and actively share your knowledge and experience.
You proactively identify risks and opportunities and translate developments in laws and regulations into impactful insights.
You contribute to the further development of our services and think along at a team level.
