What will you do as a junior tax advisor at aaff in Hoorn?

Within the Tax & Legal team, you will work for a mix of regional and national clients. Think of agricultural entrepreneurs, SMEs, and large (international) enterprises. In sectors such as construction, dairy farming, arable and agriculture, healthcare, retail, and transport. You will be involved in diverse fiscal issues: from preparing and checking tax returns and notices of objection to guiding advisory processes such as restructurings, business succession, and changes in legal form.

As a starting tax advisor, you will receive responsibility from day one, have client contact, and feel the space to apply your knowledge in practice. In this way, you will discover best where your interests and talents lie and how you want to grow further. This allows you to obtain your RB title with us - we pay for the studies and reimburse 50% of your training hours. Or you can choose to specialize or move on to another department. Whatever your ambition may be, we support you. Flexibility in working hours is a matter of course, especially around deadlines, exams, or writing your thesis.

You will be working in a close-knit team of 14 colleagues, including 10 tax specialists and 4 legal experts, spread across the Heerhugowaard and Hoorn offices. In Hoorn, you will work together with 10 colleagues. The team is diverse in age and experience level. As a junior, you can count on excellent guidance from an experienced colleague. Thanks to the short lines of communication with colleagues in North and South Holland, you will quickly feel part of a larger whole. During our monthly team days, we strengthen that collaboration even further.

• Salary: € 2,560 to € 4,021 on a full-time basis, depending on your experience.

• Freedom of choice in leave: you determine how many days off you take, up to 38 per year. Choose from regular leave, the aaff budget, or extra days via your salary. Anything you do not use from the aaff budget, we will pay out.

• Home office budget of € 550: to set up your home workplace comfortably and ergonomically.

• Allowance for working from home: € 2.45 per home working day + € 40 net internet allowance per month.

• Sustainable travel: € 0.30 per car-km for commuting, € 0.40 (€ 0.25 net) per bicycle/walking kilometer. On top of that, a full public transport allowance or—if more than 7,500 business km/year—an electric lease car or mobility budget. When driving electric, you receive € 0.40 per kilometer.

• Annual € 200 vitality budget: for your mental and physical health and always access to our online platform OpenUp.
