Set up technician works in Clean-room

Standard (Mon-Fri)

Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

At the production location in Tilburg, softgel capsules are produced for the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and dietary supplement sectors, which have a direct impact on patient health. The goal of the Maintenance & Engineering department is primarily the preventive and corrective maintenance and the modification of the existing production means and installations in both mechanical and electrical and instrumentation fields. The installations consist mainly of production machines, utilities, and equipment for the manufacture of gel and medicine. Regarding production machines, one should think of encapsulation, inspection, and post-processing machines and packaging machines.

Preparing Production Set-Up and materials according to schedule, ensuring that all loose equipment/parts of machines are in good condition. Performing preventive maintenance on pumps and setup equipment. Disassembling/assembling and cleaning pumps, which are used on the encapsulation machine. Providing service regarding the aforementioned activity to production, working on a project basis for the constant improvement of the quality of the production processes. Both points must lead to an increase in the effectiveness of the encapsulation process (RFT, OTD, and OEE). The position is performed in day shifts.

Ensures that sufficient production means are available for the department

• Daily preparation of the production means.

• Maintenance and inventory management of materials/means in the Die & Wedge room,

• Ensuring the quality of these materials/means is guaranteed.

• Keeping track of activities administratively.

• Providing advice to production, including passing information on to the responsible party.

• Ensuring that the "Die & Wedge-Room" is an optimally usable space in which everything is stored neatly and clearly.

Attention is required when performing various tasks, partly with a view to safety and SOPs, GMP/FDA.

• Preventive maintenance, pumps and set-up equipment
• Executing and participating in projects
• Performing administrative tasks
• Reporting irregularities to the maintenance supervisor and/or production manager

Work and thinking level MBO, Technical (Mechanical) background

• Knowledge of GMP/FDA

• Dutch language, spoken and written

• English language (is a plus).

• Sufficient computer skills
