• A completed technical education (MBO, in the direction of maintenance, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar)
• At least several years of experience as a mechanic, maintenance mechanic or service technician in a similar role
• Strong in mechanical maintenance; affinity with electrical engineering is a plus
• No fear of heights and no objection to working in a refrigerated environment
• Willingness to work in 3-shift service
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages
You can count on a suitable package of employment conditions. This consists of, among other things:
• Gross monthly salary between € 3,171 and € 4,585 (depending on experience); including a 13.75% shift allowance, this amounts to € 3,607 - € 5,215 gross per month
• 3-shift service: morning (07:00-15:00), afternoon (15:00-23:00) and night (23:00-07:00), rotating weekly
• Directly employed by GXO, with a view to a permanent contract
• 24 vacation days and 3.5 ADV days (CAO Professional Goods Transport), additionally entitled to more vacation days based on age.
• Courses that you can obtain at the client, such as Working Safely at Heights, VCA and NEN 3140

As a Technician (maintenance mechanic), you will work, together with a team of 10 colleagues, in an automated logistics operation in Tilburg.
You keep installations running by performing preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure that everything continues to work safely and efficiently.
• You perform preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure that the installations continue to run safely and efficiently.
• You work primarily on mechanical maintenance; electrical engineering and control technology are also part of the duties.
• You work on roller conveyors, chain conveyors, shuttles, hydraulic presses, lift tables, and cooling systems, among others.
• You work in a cold store, where approximately 90% of the work takes place in the freezer.
• You perform work at heights in a main building of 35 meters.
