As an engineer, do you want to play a key role in the largest grid reinforcement Stedin has ever carried out? And do you get energy from managing your own construction stream in a brand-new team? Then the position of Lead Engineer Neighborhood Approach at Siers in Dordrecht is perfect for you!
Siers is one of the permanent partners of Stedin in the Neighborhood Approach: a long-term program in which the low-voltage grid is reinforced neighborhood by neighborhood, so that districts are ready for the energy transition. For this, we are building a new team in Dordrecht, in which you will play a leading role.
As Lead Engineer Neighborhood Approach, you are the trailblazer of your own construction stream, with one medior and one junior engineer whom you guide in their work. Together you fall under the Team Leader. You work on design & construct projects in which Siers is responsible for design, realization, and delivery. Managing and guiding the drafting office that prepares the drawings in AutoCAD;
Performing digital preliminary research (route research) using KLIC notifications;
Checking existing situations via aerial photographs, site inspections, or GIS systems;
Devising technical solutions in the design phase, using tailor-made design tools in ArcGIS and AutoCAD;
Assigning tasks to strategic partners;
Maintaining contact with stakeholders such as client Stedin, municipalities, and water boards.
