In Heeswijk, we are looking for an enthusiastic Allround Lab Technician (office-based) for our Hazardous Substances department. Here, you will be working in our laboratory in the field of asbestos and exposure measurements. Are you looking for a dynamic position? Then read on quickly!

Your workday begins at our office in Heeswijk, where together with a colleague, you are responsible for investigating various material samples. These samples are primarily building materials, such as corrugated sheets, tile adhesive, sealant, board materials, and other suspicious applications in which asbestos may be present.
The quantity of samples arriving varies from day to day. 

Depending on the type of sample, you perform various analyses. You start with a visual and optical inspection, followed by investigation with a stereo microscope. For specific analyses, you make use of an electron microscope to identify and assess the sample more accurately. You process the results of your investigation into a clear and accurate report.

Additionally, it is nice if you have experience working in a laboratory or working in chemistry. However, this is not a strict requirement. During your start, you will receive additional training, and you will learn the real tricks of the trade in practice.
