The role
As a Supervisor Guarding, you have an eye for the person behind the employee. You ensure that security guards feel valued, can develop themselves, and remain optimally deployable. With your enthusiasm and leadership, you create a positive working atmosphere in which employees bring out the best in themselves. Because you have hardly any customer contact, your full focus lies on guiding your team, which is primarily active in Rotterdam.
What you'll do
- Managing a team of 40 to 60 security guards at various locations.
- Monitoring and improving the quality of service.
- Actively managing short and frequent absenteeism to ensure the continuity and quality of service.
- Conducting monthly meetings to discuss development and record agreements.
- Improving KPIs regarding absenteeism, turnover, and employee satisfaction.
Additionally, you play an important role in the personal and professional development of your employees. You are involved in the selection of new colleagues and ensure a smooth onboarding, both within Securitas and at the client.
You work closely with your team members, the Branch Manager Operations, and Planning to execute the established branch plan. Together, you identify productivity and efficiency savings and report these to the Branch Manager Operations.
