Impact at the intersection of business and technology.
The role
At Schuberg Philis, we work differently than most IT organizations. We deliver mission-critical IT with multidisciplinary, self-managing teams that carry full Plan-Build-Run responsibility. No handover moments, no standard blueprints, but experts who together take end-to-end responsibility for continuity, security, and real business value.
The Customer Director Consultancy is the strategic connector who translates complex business issues into mission-critical solutions that deliver real value. By conducting in-depth research into what lies behind our customers' business-critical challenges and building smart, sustainable solutions for them together with our subject matter experts. You will see your advice come to life in mission-critical solutions that keep our customers running 24/7.
For many Senior Managers, Directors, and experienced Technology Consultants, this is the perfect combination: substantive depth, strategic business issues, technology-driven change, and real impact at the C-level without having to become a full-time commercial or people manager.
Here, it is about craftsmanship, ownership, and building solutions that truly matter, for customers and for the Netherlands. You work in self-managing teams and have the autonomy within them to realize impact: direct customer relationships, short lines, few internal layers, and the freedom to determine your own agenda and approach.
You are involved in various stages, from pre-sales through to implementation. In these phases, you work closely with Customer Directors (Sales & Delivery), Tech Leads, and mission-critical engineers as a full member of a team that runs on ownership, craftsmanship, and trust. You are the catalyst for innovation, continuous development, and contribute to the improvement of our data-driven, cloud, software, and security solutions. You inspire with new insights, ask the right questions, and continually surprise customers with solutions that go beyond expectations.
Your domain focus
In the banking sector, you focus on digitalization, ranging from data and platform modernization to operational resilience and the efficient organization of laws and regulations. You move effortlessly between themes such as payments, cloud migrations, DORA, KYC/AML, and fact-based decision-making.
You quickly uncover the core of a customer request and translate it into concrete business value with appropriate mission-critical technology solutions.
You understand the complexity of legacy systems, strict governance frameworks, and intense supervision within the financial sector. With that context, you know how to deploy technology purposefully and help CIOs, CDOs, and COOs find the right balance between innovation, risk management, and continuity. In doing so, you ensure that strategic choices actually lead to sustainable results.
What you will do
If you get energy from advising at the C-level, accelerating innovation, and making an impact in an environment where reliability is crucial, then we would love to meet you!
