Senior Consultant Finance Transformation - Global Business Services & Shared Service Centers

• You have a university master's degree in (Digital) Business Administration, (Business/Financial) Economics, Finance, Accounting and Controlling, or a related field
• At least 3 years of work experience at a consultancy firm or an SSC where you worked on process optimizations and improving organizational structures (with a focus also on finance).
• You have proven experience in (digital) finance and the improvement of financial processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay and/or Record-to-Report) and the desire to acquire more knowledge in the areas of finance, digital possibilities, and improving the finance function
• Expertise in Consulting and experience with Global Business Services (GBS)
• Preferably: experience with processes in transactional systems

Your new job | About your key responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of the Business Consulting Finance team. We advise CFOs of multinationals, mid-sized companies, and start-ups on the future of their finance function and guide them through transformations. Think of data-driven working, leveraging technologies such as GenAI and ML, improving management information and financial planning, and optimizing processes and organizational models. Sustainable finance and CSRD are also increasingly central. In short: we help CFOs with the most important themes on their agenda.

Within a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to important topics that are vital for CFOs by:

• Dealing with topics and changes that impact the Global Business Service strategy.
• Projects involve: designing the target operating model for clients, process standardization & harmonization, technology & digitalization, and migrations and transitions to GBS. Change & stakeholder management is always involved as well.
• Working project-based in a team and expressing your ideas on how you can help clients improve
• Working in a team context while simultaneously working independently; at our EY office, at our clients' offices, and remotely from home
• Building, maintaining, and strengthening internal and external relationships within the Global Business Services domain
• Working across multiple projects and geographic areas in a dynamic and diverse working environment with colleagues from our global EY network

For this role, we are looking for a senior Consultant who will focus on rolling out Global Business Service (GBS) strategies and optimizing organizational models. It is important that you have some experience with finance transformations within GBS/ SSC. We are not looking for an EPM / FP&A specialist.
