You love numbers, dynamism, and making an impact. No-nonsense, à la Crowe.
As a Senior Financial Consultant within our Accounting & Reporting team in Amsterdam, you aren't just dealing with administration, but working daily with an international client portfolio full of players who are leading their markets. You elevate finance processes to a higher (digital) level and ensure that accounting, compliance, and reporting are always tightly managed.
You are a self-starter who effortlessly switches between multiple clients and deadlines without losing the overview. In an international environment where no two days are the same, you always know how to set the right priorities. You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the team, but you just as easily take responsibility to get things done yourself.
You are a driven finance professional who does not shy away from complex issues and thrives precisely at the intersection of business and finance.
You maintain an overview of the entire financial cycle: from reports and annual accounts (Dutch GAAP) to tax returns and audits.
You are a natural people manager who motivates, guides, and brings out the best in a team.
You take the initiative to make processes smarter, faster, and more digital, because working more efficiently means more room for quality.
You build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external auditors, and switch smoothly between all levels.
You ensure that new clients feel immediately at home with tight onboarding and a clear structure.
You see opportunities in data, BI, and digitalization and know how to translate these into valuable insights for both clients and your team.
You are not only strong in your professional expertise, but also someone who gains energy from collaborating and multidisciplinary projects.
You have completed an MBO, HBO, or WO education, preferably in the field of Finance & Control or Accountancy
With at least 6 years of experience in the books, you know exactly how things work.
You are comfortable with systems such as Exact Online, SAP, Oracle, Xero, NetSuite, Yardi, or Dynamics 365; you feel at home with them.
You already have experience in an international environment and find that particularly interesting.
You know Dutch GAAP like the back of your hand, and if you also pick up IFRS, that is a great bonus.
You have experience with annual accounts, audit processes, and everything that goes along with them.
You can juggle multiple projects at once without losing sight of deadlines or details.
You remain sharp under pressure and deliver quality, even when the pace is high.
Improving and standardizing? You get energy from that, especially when it comes to digitalization and automation.
You speak and write excellent Dutch and English; an additional European language is a nice bonus.
Ownership and result-orientation are in your DNA; you make the difference.

Our Financial Advisory Services (FAS) department is the heart of the office, literally and figuratively. They are one of our pillars, and you can feel it: a stable, robust, and friendly group where togetherness is a matter of course. Whether you are an intern or have been part of the team for years, you simply belong and you are taken care of. The atmosphere is informal, the lines are short, and the best conversations happen at the coffee machine. No solo acts; here, you simply do it together.
