Requirements

What we're looking for

You have experience within manufacturing, industrial automation, or OT environments.
You have approximately 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role within production environments.
You have knowledge of .NET, SQL Server, and DevOps principles.
You have experience with the implementation, management, or further development of MES solutions.
You understand how systems, processes, and data flows converge within production environments.
You have knowledge of ISA-95 or similar industrial standards.
You are technically strong, take initiative, and know how to bring people along during changes.
You work in a structured manner, think in solutions, and take initiative.

The role

At Royal Swinkels, we combine more than 300 years of craftsmanship with modern technology. Our breweries and production sites are continuously being further developed and digitized. Operational Technology plays a crucial role in this. To make our production processes smarter, more efficient, and future-proof, we are investing heavily in our OT environment. The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) forms the connecting link between the shop floor and the business processes. That is why we are looking for a Lead Engineer MES. A specialist who takes ownership of our MES landscape and provides direction for its further development within our international production environment.

What you'll do

Managing, improving, and further developing our MES solution.
Monitoring the stability, performance, and continuity of the MES landscape.
Translating requirements from Operations, Engineering, and Production into concrete technical solutions.
Guiding implementations, changes, and expansions within MES.
Collaborating with OT, IT, and production colleagues as well as external partners.
Sharing knowledge, documenting solutions, and providing support during releases and incidents.
Further professionalizing the OT application landscape.
