What we're looking for

MBO+/HBO working and thinking level with an education in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Maritime Technology, Mechatronics, or similar;
Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and maritime systems;
Knowledge of piping systems such as hydraulic, potable water, fuel, bilge, and HVAC systems;
Experience reading technical drawings and schematics;
Good command of the Dutch and English languages;
You are independent, solution-oriented, customer-oriented, and take responsibility;
You are willing to travel internationally.

What you'll do

As a Service Engineer Mechanical, you ensure that mechanical systems aboard our superyachts continue to function optimally. You combine technical knowledge with a practical approach and deliver service at the highest level.

Based in Vollenhove, you will work on maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and optimizations of technical installations aboard yachts worldwide. You perform service activities, commission systems, and ensure that installations function reliably and safely.

You locate and resolve faults in mechanical and hydraulic systems, piping, and deck equipment. Additionally, you inspect installations, advise on improvements and preventive maintenance, and prepare clear service reports.

During your activities, you will have close contact with captains, crew, suppliers, and shipyards. You work together with engineering, project management, and production to solve technical issues and implement structural improvements.

No project, yacht, or location is ever the same. As a result, you will regularly work internationally and get the chance to work on unique technical challenges within the absolute top of international yacht building.
