Repair Technician

In this versatile and varied role, you are responsible for repairing and replacing elevator parts. Your workday includes:

🔧 Performing repairs on existing elevators

• Replacing and adjusting parts such as:
  • Hoisting cables
  • Motors and drives
  • Control systems
  • Detection strips and sensors
  • Safety components
• Analyzing technical problems on-site
• Resolving (complex) malfunctions in both mechanical and electrotechnical components
• If a direct solution is not possible: preparing clear advice for follow-up work
• You inform customers clearly about the state of their installation
• You explain which activities are being performed and why
• You think along about possible improvements or preventive maintenance
• You regularly work together with a fellow technician on larger repairs
• You plan your own activities efficiently and work independently whenever possible

Your activities contribute directly to the continuity of lifts in residential complexes, offices, hospitals, and other buildings throughout the provinces of Utrecht and Noord-Holland.

Is this the job for you?

You are:

• Technically trained or technically minded;

• Socially oriented and customer-focused;

• Possession of a B driver's license;

• You enjoy working independently and have a sense of responsibility;

• Safety is essential to you;

• You have a good command of the Dutch language;

• Experience in elevator technology is a plus (not a must);
