The role

Are you THE Test Engineer with the ambition to perform advanced wind tunnel tests and further develop our experimental testing techniques? Are you a team player and a driver, do you have a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, and is your interest in Aerospace Engineering? Then we look forward to your application!

What you'll do

As a test engineer, you are responsible for the processing, validation, and presentation of wind tunnel data to the customer. In doing so, you work closely with customers and colleagues from the start of a project through to the delivery of wind tunnel test results. During the preparation and execution of the test, you know how to verify, process, and present the various measurement values and data to our customers so that they can interpret them smoothly. To achieve this, you work together with technician operators and project managers. You develop multidisciplinary knowledge and gain experience with the entire process, from data acquisition and advanced measurement techniques to the final processing and analysis of the data. In short, a challenging job where there is room for your own input and you receive a lot of responsibility. You primarily work at our location in Marknesse, where we manage two low-speed wind tunnels. On a project basis, you also support our wind tunnel tests in Amsterdam.

What do you bring?

• Collegiality, result-orientation, ability to learn

• You have the ambition and potential to develop into a valued advisor

• Flexibility to also support our wind tunnel tests in Amsterdam (on a project basis)
