For our team, we are looking for a Director Public & Social Domain: an experienced, entrepreneurial leader who thinks strategically, navigates administrative landscapes, and takes responsibility for impact.

At nlmtd, we work at the core of the public and social domain: where policy, implementation, and society meet. We help governments and social organizations not only to design complex transitions but also to realize them.

You will work on complex transitions in the public and social domain. Your assignments take place at and for:

• Ministries and national government agencies (such as Ministry of KGG)

• Executive organizations (such as RIVM, RVO, and Institute for Mining Damage Groningen)

• Municipalities and municipal partnerships

• Social organizations and public institutions

• You work on complex transitions in the social domain, where enterprises prioritize the social mission.

• You lead strategic change and transition programs from design to realization

• You advise and guide administrators and boards in complex decision-making

• You help organizations with steering, governance, and the organization of implementation

• You connect policy, implementation, and societal challenges

• You actively build relationships, networks, and propositions within this domain

• The issues are administratively sensitive, substantively complex, and socially urgent; that is exactly where you make the difference.

• Develop change programs that fit the organization

• Build coalitions between administration, policy, and implementation

You are an independent entrepreneur who is a substantive and entrepreneurial figurehead within the public and social domain.

You work with a high degree of autonomy, build assignments and propositions, and take ownership of societal results. Not advice for the sake of advice, but transformations that land in organizations and are noticeable to citizens.

• 10-15 years of experience in consultancy

• Experience within the national government, municipalities, or executive agencies

• You combine strategic sharpness with the power to realize

• You have administrative sensitivity and switch effortlessly at board level

• You take ownership of content, relationships, and results

• You have an entrepreneurial attitude and contribute to business development

You want to make a visible societal impact.

A fair distribution:
80% of the fee is for you. Additionally, you receive a 12% commission on assignments that you bring in yourself for other nlmtd consultants.
