As a Business Development Manager, you are the engine behind commercial growth in your region. You develop new markets, strengthen sustainable customer relationships, and increase revenue through targeted acquisition and cross-selling. With your entrepreneurial spirit, commercial insight, and connecting leadership, you shape and coach the commercial teams at our branches, ensuring they collaborate optimally and achieve results.
Additionally, you contribute to the further professionalization of our commercial strategy, exploit opportunities in the market, and actively build a strong network. Together with the Branch Director and Commercial Director, you are responsible for realizing our growth objectives and strengthening our market position.
In this role, you are the commercial driver of the region. You combine strategic insight with hands-on sales power and demonstrate what happens when energy and ownership come together. You don't just direct what needs to happen, but you actually do it yourself: visible and active in the market.
You focus on a number of clear priorities:
You build targeted new customer relationships, identify commercial opportunities, and take the initiative to convert these into concrete assignments. You are recognizable as the face of Newtone in your region.
You move continuously within relevant networks: business clubs, entrepreneur meetings, events, and other places where opportunities arise. You know exactly where our target group is located. And where they are, you are too.
You stimulate, inspire, and motivate partners and relationship holders to become more commercially active. You make commerce a topic of discussion, create focus and entrepreneurship, and ensure follow-up. You bring movement and create ownership.
You initiate and organize customer meetings, networking activities, and marketing initiatives that contribute to visibility, lead generation, and deepening relationships. With your approach, commerce becomes a natural part of our daily practice.
You organize and lead periodic sales meetings, facilitate collaboration between branches, and ensure a joint commercial agenda. You secure progress by recording and monitoring activities and opportunities in CRM. In this way, we create insight, predictability, and focus.
In short: you are not a classic sales manager, but a commercial driver: someone who is entrepreneurial and takes the lead, brings colleagues along, and is intrinsically driven to realize growth.
