The role
What you'll do
At AH to go at Leiden Centraal station, it is nicely busy in one of the two stores: travelers are in a hurry, but still want to be helped quickly and well. Therefore, we are looking for all-round employees who are confident, stay calm under pressure, know how to roll up their sleeves, and enjoy making customers happy. With us, you are both a bakery assistant and a service assistant - a varied job in which no two days are the same!
- You help customers get back on their way quickly with a fresh sandwich. Out of croissants? You bake them!
- You replenish the shelves and ensure the shop looks tip-top. From unloading the freight to facing the products: you ensure everything is in order
- You are a team player who, together with colleagues, ensures that travelers can do their shopping quickly and pleasantly
How you'll work
Your schedule is flexible and we will coordinate it together. You are available to work on the weekend, at the very least. For this vacancy, you are responsible for opening and closing the store. The early shift starts at 07:00 and you work until 01:00 at the latest. Examples of shifts are 07:00 - 15:30 or 16:00 - 01:00. Your shift lasts a maximum of 8 hours.
Good to know: due to the nature of the work and because we are sometimes alone, it is important that you are 18 years or older. And at this location, you will work with a diverse team of Dutch- and English-speaking colleagues.
Hiring process
- You can reach the location within 30 minutes without public transport, because it does not always run in the early morning or late evening.
- We find it important that everyone who works with us feels at home. You can see this in everything we do and therefore also in our recruitment policy regarding diversity and inclusion. Read more here.
- With this vacancy, we wish to recruit our new colleague ourselves. This is therefore NOT a call for acquisition.
