What you'll do

Within its QA-Operations sub-department, our Quality Assurance department is looking for an enthusiastic, communicative, and analytically strong intern who wants to gain (internship) experience within a highly regulated quality/manufacturing environment.

What does QA Operations do?

QA Operations is responsible for the release of batches (product release) by monitoring and checking production information, identifying deviations, and coordinating departments so that data is available completely and on time. Through tight KPI monitoring, up-to-date release documentation, and correct CoAs (Certificates of Analysis), we ensure that every batch can move through the chain safely, compliantly, and without delay - from production to customer.

As an intern, you will participate in our QA back office. You will develop yourself in the areas of quality monitoring, process coordination, data analysis, accuracy, and professional collaboration within a high-care production environment.

A large part of your work consists of reviewing batch records. You check if everything is correct, complete, and made available on time so that batches can be released. Additionally, you support the management of KPIs, release files, and certificates, and you get the opportunity to observe the handling of complaints and deviations.

  • Reviewing batch records and coordinating that all data is provided completely and on time.

  • Establishing and reporting KPIs (daily, weekly, monthly) to management.

  • Preparing CoAs (Certificates of Analysis) for customers.

  • Keeping release files (Excel) up to date based on various sources.

  • Preparing for COKZ visits and supporting audit-related documents.

  • Opportunity to observe and support the handling of complaints and deviations.

Who are you?

  • An HBO (higher professional education) student in a field such as food technology, Food & Business, or similar

  • Looking for a working or combined (work + research) internship for a minimum duration of 5 to 6 months

  • Good command of the English and Dutch languages, both spoken and written

What do we offer?

An inspiring and innovative working environment in which you can develop yourself and sharpen your skills within a dedicated and professional team. Additionally, as an HBO student, you will receive an internship allowance of €450 per month.
