What we're looking for

You are pursuing a HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or WO (Research University) degree in the direction of Industrial Design, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or another technical or product-oriented program.
You are looking for a working internship starting in February 2027.
You are proficient in both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
You can work well independently and show initiative when taking on tasks.
You have an eye for detail and work accurately.
You have an interest in product safety, technology, and quality standards.

💶 An internship allowance of €400 per month (based on 35 hours per week).

The role

During this working internship, you will be part of the hardware team within Product Quality & Safety, where various disciplines converge, such as toys, food, and electrical appliances. You often start your day by analyzing complaints and customer feedback to gain insight into which products are not functioning correctly. Subsequently, you investigate the cause of quality or safety issues, consult with product teams regarding possible improvements, and advise on adjustments. You also contribute to the development of new items by assessing and testing samples and checking whether they comply with legislation, safety standards, and internal quality criteria. And you have daily contact with various units to arrive at the right quality solutions.
