Head Bicycle Mechanic in the Netherlands

Fietsvoordeelshop.nl is growing fast. Therefore, for our store in Sittard Geleen , we are looking for an experienced Head Mechanic who maintains an overview in the workshop and enjoys taking the lead. Someone who is not only technically strong, but also helps colleagues and thinks along about how things can be better every day.

What will you do?

As Head Mechanic, you are the primary point of contact in the workshop. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and that customers leave the door safe and satisfied. Your duties include:

• Performing maintenance and repairs on all types of bicycles, from e-bikes to city and children's bikes

• Providing customers with explanations regarding the work performed

• Preparing new bicycles for use and equipping them with accessories

• Planning the activities in the workshop

• Guiding (new) mechanics and ensuring everyone works with the right materials

• Thinking along about improvements and discussing these with the Branch Manager

You will receive a lot of freedom in your role and have a direct influence on the quality of our work and customer satisfaction.

• A completed education as a bicycle technician and/or demonstrable experience as a bicycle mechanic

• Experience as a first mechanic or head mechanic is a plus

• You maintain an overview and help colleagues where necessary

• You are customer-oriented, stress-resistant, and reliable

• Colleagues describe you as friendly, helpful, and pleasant to work with

• Full-time job (40 hours) as head bicycle mechanic in an enthusiastic team

• Salary €3,431 to €3,865 gross (40 hours, depending on experience, CAO)
