Asset manager Almere region (32-40 hours)

Want to use your analytical skills to optimize Lidl's real estate portfolio in the Almere region? You can do that in this vacancy for asset manager. You will receive responsibility for commercial and technical management and work directly on our 'Expansion Never Stops' strategy. In a dynamic team with short lines of communication, you will truly make a difference for the growth of Lidl in the Almere region. Our region consists of 66 branches spread across Noord-Holland and Flevoland.

As an asset manager, you are the pivot in the management of our real estate portfolio. You ensure that our properties are operated optimally, coordinate maintenance, and manage contracts accurately. You work closely with the acquirers in the regional team to realize new stores, expansions, and relocations. Additionally, you have a lot of contact with the Construction department and other internal stakeholders. You will join the dynamic Construction & Real Estate team, where a good atmosphere and collaboration are crucial. Decision-making lines are short and contact with management is low-threshold. You will report to the Manager Construction and Real Estate at the regional office in Almere.

A glimpse into your activities as an asset manager:

• You are responsible for commercial portfolio management and ensure optimal operation.
• You coordinate the technical management of the properties owned by Lidl.
• You monitor contract expiration dates and proactively signal opportunities for redevelopment or disposal.
• You monitor vacancy management and ensure the sale or rental of non-strategic real estate.
• You engage brokers and participate in negotiations regarding sale or rental, in line with Lidl’s real estate strategy.
• You monitor and optimize the service costs of the portfolio.

• Have a completed HBO or WO degree in Real Estate & Brokerage, Construction, Facility Management, or similar.
• Have at least 3 to 5 years of work experience in real estate management, property management, or asset management.
• Have specialist knowledge of spatial planning and the new Environment Act (Omgevingswet).
• Have demonstrable experience in drafting and reviewing real estate contracts (both purchase and lease).
• Your proactivity and analytical ability come in handy when recognizing and prioritizing the necessary actions in the real estate portfolio.
• Are a skilled networker and use your ambition to solve bottlenecks regarding our housing in a creative manner.
