Safety Advisor KPN Technicians

• HBO/WO level think & do level (e.g., Business Administration)
• A completed safety professional education (e.g., MVK, HVK, or MOSHE) is necessary
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: you recognize and analyze risks and take effective measures.
• Strong communication skills: you know how to communicate clearly and persuasively with employees, managers, and external parties.
• Experience with VCA methodology and the Safety Culture Ladder.
• Organizational skills: you can set up, execute, and monitor audits and change processes.

• A gross monthly salary of at least € 5216,- and at most € 7843,- depending on your work experience, based on 40 hours excluding 8% holiday allowance

As HSE Manager, you have a specific responsibility regarding safety. To achieve this, we are looking for an HSE Manager: someone who switches effortlessly between strategic advice and operational implementation.

In addition to safety, the HSE Manager is also responsible for the successful and complete implementation of generic changes within the technician organization. For a successful implementation, you think along about whether and how something will work for technicians and team managers. You are responsible for the entire implementation process from start to finish. And you ensure that the implementation is adopted by employees. Quality is paramount, in combination with alignment with time to market.

In this combined role, you are responsible for implementing a proactive safety culture (Safety Culture Ladder step 3), ensuring VCA compliance for the KPN technicians, and implementing other changes, alongside safety, for the technicians. You are part of the Customer Delivery Excellence & Transformation department, consisting of various implementation managers and process managers. For safety, you work together with the central policy department (Compliance & Integrity).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Influence & change management: translating every message effectively to both the technicians (MBO organization) and to the various staff departments
• Workable solutions for Customer Delivery, including organizing pilots to test the impact and consequences of the change in practice beforehand.
• Closing the Plan Do Check Act by performing analyses and contributing to the implementation of improvements
• VCA coordination, including: workplace inspections, internal and external audits, toolbox meetings, and management reports.
• Implementing a safety strategy and program focused on proactive behavior (SCL 3).
• Carrying out risk inventories and evaluations (RI&E).
• Lead stakeholder for HSE issues regarding the KPN technicians
