Communication Internship at KPN

To be successful in this role, you bring the following:

• You are following a degree in communication, media, or a similar field, or you have a clear affinity with communication and storytelling.
• You think creatively, dare to propose ideas, and like to take the initiative in doing so.
• You are a team player with good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• You are proactive and have a hands-on mentality: you take action and take responsibility for your work.
• As of February 2027, you are available at least 4 days per week for a minimum period of 5 months.
• You are able to work weekly at our office in Rotterdam and at our office in Amersfoort. 

This is what you will receive from KPN:

• An internship allowance of EUR 600,- (based on 40 hours).
• A laptop, which you can also use for your school assignments. 
• Do you not have a student travel pass? Then your travel expenses for the train or car will be reimbursed.
• With us, you will receive a permanent mentor who will coach you professionally during your internship.

As a communication intern, you play an important role within the team. You will work together with various stakeholders and will be given the space to contribute to communication with creative ideas and initiatives. Your fresh perspective is valued and you will be encouraged not only to come up with ideas, but also to actively translate them into concrete actions.

You organize innovative events and communication activities where you manage to surprise and involve your colleagues every single time.

• You are responsible for the communication surrounding various events, blogs, and newsletters.
• You advise colleagues and write, edit, and improve communication texts.
• You think along creatively and strategically about how communication can contribute to internal pride and the sharing of information.
• Due to the central position that KPN TDO Network occupies, you will learn a lot about our dynamic business operations in a short time, ensuring that no two days are the same.
