AI Engineer

Korton helps organizations set up their IT environment to be secure, stable, and future-proof. Now we are also building our own AI platform, with one clear ambition: all of Korton must excel in AI. As an AI Engineer, you ensure that this platform not only exists but is actually used.

You are the technical owner of our AI-native operation. You configure, implement, and manage AI applications within the framework of the platform, for Team Platform and for all other departments. Where the AI Platform Engineer builds generically, you make it work locally. You don't need to be a senior software developer for this: the complex infrastructure, architecture, and standards come from your colleagues in the same team. You understand these building blocks and put them into practice.

Configuration and implementation

• You configure and roll out integrations, agents, tools, and workflows;

• You connect local systems to the platform standards of the Platform team;

• You work with central templates for integrations via API, MCP, and A2A;

• You configure authorizations, customer context, and local process rules;

• You implement and test new skills and workflows.

• You check whether workflows work correctly, reliably, and within the frameworks;

• You monitor errors, exceptions, human corrections, and escalations;

• You maintain local integrations and configurations;

• You perform periodic checks on logging, risk matrices, and autonomy levels;

• You work according to our information security policy and document procedures and work processes well.

• You help colleagues in all departments with the use of new AI applications;

• You support the customer teams using your expertise;

• You signal when a local problem requires a generic platform solution;

• Together with the Manager Platform, IT Architect, or AI Platform Engineer, you translate use cases into working solutions;

• You make proposals to improve processes and services and take the lead in execution.

• You have a strong affinity with technology and AI;

• You make contact easily and understand how work is done in practice;

• You explain technical matters clearly and enjoy helping colleagues on their way;

• You work analytically and accurately;

• You feel ownership of what happens after the initial implementation;

• You have an interest in monitoring, quality, risk, and continuous improvement;

• You learn quickly and work well within a technical framework.
