Procure-to-Pay Team Leader

• Completed higher professional education (HBO) in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, or a similar field;

• Approximately 5-8 years of relevant work experience within Finance Operations (P2P), of which at least 2 years in a leadership or coordinating role;

• Demonstrable experience with P2P processes, preferably within an SSC environment;

• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics AX and/or D365) and affinity with process optimization and system implementations;

• Strong people manager with a focus on team development, talent development, and ownership;

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate performance into concrete improvement actions;

• Able to oversee, analyze, and improve processes end-to-end;

• Dares to critically question existing working methods and implement improvements, and communicates easily with various stakeholders;

• Good command of the Dutch and English languages.

Ballast Nedam is in full development. Within our Shared Service Center (SSC), we are working on the further professionalization of Finance Operations and Accounting, with clear process responsibility, strong governance, and end-to-end collaboration.

To realize this ambition, we are looking for a Team Lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P). In this role, you will lead the P2P team (approximately 12 FTE) and be responsible for the performance and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay process.

You will ensure efficient, reliable, and controlled processing of invoices up to the point of payment. In doing so, you will actively manage quality, lead time, first-time-right, and customer satisfaction, and work closely with Procurement Support, Master Data & Controls, Cash & Bank, Accounting, and the business.

• Leading, coaching, and developing the P2P team, with a focus on ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Managing daily operations, priorities, capacity, and team performance

• Responsible for the performance of the end-to-end P2P process

• Managing KPIs such as lead time, backlog, first-time-right, paymentability, and quality

• Identifying, escalating, and resolving process bottlenecks and exceptions

• Initiating and realizing process improvements, standardization, and automation

• Strengthening collaboration with Procurement Support, Master Data & Controls, Cash & Bank, Accounting, and the business

• Monitoring compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements
