Logistics Technician (day shift)

• You have a completed MBO level 3 education in the direction of Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• If you have a mechanical background, we request (willingness to undergo) additional training in Electrical Switching;
• Willing to work regularly (1-2x per month) on Saturdays when production is stopped for repairs;
• Flexibility on Saturdays: You are willing to work approximately 1 to 2 times per month on Saturdays, so that repairs to the production lines run smoothly;
• All-round deployability: During the week, you support your colleagues at the various packaging lines within the organization;
• You have a principled attitude regarding safety and understand risks and how to handle them, safety is number 1;
• You have excellent craftsmanship in the mechanical field. That is the basis of your work;
• On top of that, you have the skill to be a connector between teams and people;
• You can spar with different stakeholders to reach the best solution for all parties within the KBU;
• You are result-oriented, quality-oriented, and take initiative;
• You can work independently and hold your own during large jobs;
• Supporting and improving (annual) plans and work orders with the work planner;
• Experience in the food industry and lean is a plus;
• Good Dutch communication skills, both oral and written.

The maintenance technicians at JDE take care of maintaining and improving the safety, sustainability, availability, and reliability of the machines. As a Technician, you are responsible for performing large and small overhauls and inspections in the mechanical field and improving plans and execution. Your primary work area is our central Palletising and pallet storage, where we ensure the logistical handling of packs, collo, and boxes from the Packaging department. A large work area with a great diversity of machines and systems. Within the Technical Service, we are proud of our craftsmanship and the contribution we make to the production of the best coffee.

The position is classified in function group 7 of the Coffee & Tea CAO, with the possibility of growth to Dedicated technician in function group 8.
