You have at least a Bachelor's (HBO) and/or University degree in a technical field;
You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
You know how to identify, develop, and implement improvements. In doing so, you know how to enthusiastically engage both management and the production floor with your ideas;
You are analytical and are familiar with Lean Six Sigma;

Languages

You are proficient in the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

The role

What you'll do

As a Production Engineer, you implement improvements in the production process and solve ad-hoc problems. Because you are regularly found on the floor, you have a good overview of the performance of the packaging lines. Through data, you can provide strong substantiation for these findings and initiate the right action. When you have a well-thought-out idea that production can benefit from, we challenge you to implement it! Additionally, you will spend approximately 30% of your time collaborating within the PM pillar.

Your duties as a Production Engineer include, among others :

You lead improvement projects regarding the performance of the production lines;
You make a difference by implementing Autonomous Maintenance.
You are responsible for a portion of our packaging lines and work independently on projects in the fields of HSE, efficiency, and reliability;
You make use of the methodologies of the JDE improvement organization and Six Sigma;
You work on testing and setting up new products and lines and participate in investment projects;
You support and coach your colleagues on the production floor where necessary.

This concerns a freelance (ZZP) assignment for a duration of one year. At the end of this period, it will be evaluated whether the assignment will be extended.
