Hi, we are InShared: an online insurer that does everything just a little bit differently. We use smart technology to make insurance simple, fast, and fair. We also have the JaarBalans: if there is money left in the claims pot, we give it back to our customers.

We once started as the rebel in the insurance world. Now we are on the threshold of an international breakthrough. Today with 300 people, soon perhaps with 500. To grow further (internationally), we are looking for entrepreneurial and energetic people who want to continue shaking up insurance together with us. What we need? A DevOps Engineer (Azure) who wants to contribute to making our platform scalable and future-proof.

As a DevOps Engineer, you play a crucial role in our journey from legacy to innovation. You help with the transformation to InShared 2.0 and bring us to the cloud. As a pioneer in our team of technicians, you embrace a hybrid scenario. You are building containerized parts in the new world, while the current world is gradually being brought along.

Together with the team, you create a scalable and flexible infrastructure in Azure Cloud, always knowing how to find a good balance between scalability and pragmatism and remaining focused on delivering immediate value. You facilitate the transition from old to new services and ensure that solutions remain future-proof and manageable.

You work closely with our architects and development teams and take ownership in this. You help teams become more independent by coaching on developer experience, automation, and the effective use of DevOps principles.

You are continuously curious about new technology, but you make conscious choices based on stability, security, and manageability. Additionally, you are responsible for setting up the DevOps tools and CI/CD processes, collaborating with various teams, and analyzing technical problems to ensure smooth deployments.
