Sustainability Packaging Internship

During this internship, you will contribute directly to a more sustainable HEMA assortment. You will work together with packaging specialists, buyers, and product managers on packaging improvements, data analyses, and the impact of new laws and regulations. In this way, you combine sustainability, innovation, and data in one versatile internship.

• Sustain & innovate: You analyze packaging, investigate opportunities for improvement, and think along about smart, future-proof packaging solutions that contribute to a more sustainable HEMA assortment.
• Data & insights: You collect, manage, and analyze packaging data in Excel, our PIM system, and AI tools, and translate this into valuable insights for the organization.
• Legislation & compliance: You delve into current and future European laws and regulations regarding packaging and investigate what this means for our products and processes.
• Collaborate & make an impact: You work closely with packaging specialists, product managers, buyers, and sustainability experts, build a broad network, and contribute to important sustainability decisions within HEMA.

• You are pursuing a HBO or WO degree in the direction of Business Administration, Commercial Economics, Sustainability Sciences, Business Analytics, or another relevant field of study.
• You are looking for a working internship starting from February 1st, with a duration of 5 months.
• You are accurate, independent, and dare to ask questions.
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• You enjoy working with data and have strong skills in Excel & MS Office.
• You find sustainability important and want to actively contribute to improving packaging processes.
