Coordinating Order Picker Day Shift

As a coordinating order picker, you are responsible for a number of loops and ensure that everything keeps running smoothly, and that we maintain a positive workflow. How do you do that? Mostly by helping with picking orders, but you also have other responsibilities. For example, training new colleagues, making pick corrections in the system, coordinating staffing during breaks, monitoring safety measures, and addressing colleagues to ensure everyone is in the right place. Because you have a central role on the work floor, you help HEMA improve work processes and applied technology and systems. And if the process does get stuck? Then you are the first point of contact for the control room and technical service.

• Picking orders for the stores;
• Maintaining an overview of a number of loops within DPS;
• Training and guiding new colleagues;
• Performing corrections in systems and inventories;
• Supervising compliance with safety agreements on the work floor;
• Coordinating staffing during breaks and at the end of the working day;
• Improving work processes and systems;
• Being the first point of contact for the control room and technical service.

• MBO/HBO working and thinking level;
• You have experience as an order picker;
• You can maintain a good overview in a hectic environment;
• You enjoy supervising our safety and solving problems;
• You are available during the following hours of DPS/VPS (0600 - 1400) and also available to work regularly on Saturdays.
• You are open, communicative, and demonstrate exemplary behavior.
