You just arrive at the location, your phone rings. Your day begins! Every morning is a surprise in which you start as a technical coordinator by solving the first issues. It may be that you have to get to work immediately with technical installations, internal renovations, security, or new projects. With your technical insight and eye for safety, that is quickly fixed.

You do this in our mechanized distribution center in Nieuwegein. One of our distribution centers, from which faster and more efficient deliveries are made daily to our regional distribution centers and stores. In this distribution center, robots are used and you will find various departments. Do you see yourself working here?

You are responsible for the technical installations, the cooling, heating, building structure, and all internal transport equipment. You have the contacts with contractors and suppliers and together with the maintenance employee, you ensure that everything continues to work well in the building. And if things break, you arrange their replacement or repair. You ensure that leakages are resolved, malfunctions in technical systems are fixed, and rejection points from inspections are resolved in a timely manner. You ensure optimal coordination between corrective and planned maintenance. Once everything is arranged, you look for points of improvement and propose them, so that everything on a technical level is a little bit better every day. You commit yourself every day to the:

• Maintenance and management of all building-related installations.
• Directing and coaching the maintenance employee.
• Ensuring reporting and making improvement proposals, supported by calculations regarding whether or not something should be purchased.
• Working closely with the facility coordinator and the facility manager.

You are the specialist within the team. In addition, you are able to convey your message clearly and distinctly to your colleagues in the warehouse, the team leaders, and the maintenance employee. • You have an MBO work and thinking level.
• You have at least two years of work experience in a logistics environment. A technical background is required.
• You are available on-call after working hours for emergency services.
