QA Officer (all genders) in the Netherlands

• You have a completed HBO or WO degree in the field of food technology or similar;
• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience;
• You are up to date with current knowledge and regulations regarding quality management (systems);
• Good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written;
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Employment conditions

• Salary between €3,400 and €4,650 gross per month (full-time), depending on experience and suitability for the role;

• A working week of 32 to 38 hours, 5% end-of-year bonus, 10% bonus (based on company results), 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme;

• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way) or a train pass;

• 200 hours of leave per year (based on full-time employment), with the possibility to buy or sell up to 40 extra hours;

As a QA Officer, you are part of the Quality and Safety department.

In this role, you have the following responsibilities;

• You translate legislation, customer requirements, and FrieslandCampina policies into local procedures and instructions;
• You manage the local quality management system;
• You guide (customer) audits and (customer) visits, including the preparation and follow-up thereof (CAPA management);
• You receive, assess, and ensure follow-up of complaints;
• You participate in site- or chain-wide projects and perform Root Cause Analyses from a quality perspective.

The Leerdam location is part of the BG Retail & America's and is a packaging location for various types of cheese. With approximately 300 colleagues, we package cheeses in a factory equipped with the latest technologies, where the strictest hygiene requirements must be met.
The QA team is responsible for:

• Food safety: setting standards, compliance with control measures, risk assessment, and coaching employees in the factory.
• Licence to produce: conditions to be allowed to place products on the market.
• Customer experience: incidents, complaint handling, coaching teams on audit standards.

Due to internal growth, we are looking for a new QA Officer within FrieslandCampina Leerdam. As a QA Officer, you communicate our vision on quality to the customer, the internal organization, and the shop floor. Because you are up to date with new developments and methodologies, you are able to raise all QA (and related) processes to a higher level. You work together in a team with QA, QC, and SHE.
