• Ideally, you have completed an MBO level 2/3 education in Process or Food Technology;
• At least 1 year of experience in a role as a packaging operator or machine operator, preferably within the food industry;

Employment conditions

• Salary of € 4,005.05 (full-time), incl. 28.7% shift allowance, depending on experience and suitability for the role;
• A 36-hour work week, 5% end-of-year bonus, 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme;
• €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way);

• As a packaging operator, you are responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining all packaging lines within our factories for packaging powder products, ensuring these products are packaged in a qualitatively correct manner. This packaging department ensures, at a high quality level within the food industry, that our products are packaged safely and hygienically for the consumer. Your workday consists primarily of continuously improving the processes within Kievit, so that all five packaging lines operate at the correct level.

This vacancy is open in Meppel and we would love to take you along to what we work on daily with 250 enthusiastic colleagues. The production site features modern technologies and produces powdered ingredients for the food and beverage industry for our customers worldwide. The products are mostly used in beverages (instant drinks, creamers, foamers), bakery products (e.g., cake toppings), and nutrition. You will work in a team of 20 colleagues. The production at Kievit Meppel is active 24/7, working in 5 shifts.

As a processing packaging operator, you will start working at FrieslandCampina Meppel. You will work in 5 shifts in a team consisting of over 20 employees. You are responsible for the packaging of our powdered products, registrations, and inspections of the packaging and the packaging line.
