What you'll do
Technology is currently a vital component in organizational transformations and has an impact on organizational structures and ways of working. As Manager Technology Strategy & Transformation, you will guide organizations through changes, ranging from short-term strategic trajectories (such as designing the IT vision, strategy, and operating model) to long-term transformation programs and (technology) implementations that fundamentally change the organization and its way of working. The services we offer focus primarily on the agendas of the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Key responsibilities:
You will fulfill a leading role, in which you are responsible for, among other things, the following activities:
- Supporting clients on the development of technology, IT vision, strategy, operating model, organizational design, governance, and cost optimization.
- Advising clients on the (strategic) design and implementation of the latest technological innovations, such as (Generative) AI or large platforms such as SAP and Microsoft.
- Designing and implementing (IT) solutions that are aligned with the client's business goals, strategic context, and operating models.
- Preparing C-level decision-making materials, supported by sound analysis and clear storytelling.
- Executing project/program management for large client assignments, where you guide (technical) workflows in strategy and transformation programs.
- Guiding cross-functional teams and facilitating strategic decision-making.
- The substantive development and guidance of teams of (senior) consultants during projects.
- Taking responsibility for one of our Go-To-Market chapters, and/or developing your own proposition.
- Balancing conceptual problem-solving skills with hands-on leadership in execution.

- Strategy and implementation roadmap for migration to Public Cloud for an international bank.
- Guiding end-to-end AI Transformations, for example in the field of the Agentic Software delivery lifecycle and associated adjustments in the operating model.
- Program management within an IT department in the public sector.
- Development of GenAI strategies.

Amsterdam
Our office in Amsterdam is located at the Zuidas: a vibrant place where many companies are established. In our Cross Towers, no fewer than 1500 people are welcomed every day upon arrival. Your skills and abilities | About your unique contribution
- A master's degree with a strong affinity for IT, Digital, and Business, such as Business Information (Management), Digital Business, Industrial Engineering, or another study related to these domains.
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience in the field of IT, IT Strategy, IT transformation, IT project management, and/or digital business, coming from an IT (strategy) consultancy organization or another relevant business role. Preferably, you have experience with direction and organizational design issues.
- You are able to independently lead (technical) workflows and take responsibility for scope, planning, budget, and quality. In which you steer towards quality assurance of deliverables and the management of risks and compliance.
- You have experience in managing teams of consultants and contribute to their development.
- You are able to build and maintain strong client relationships and actively contribute to the development of propositions and the identification of new opportunities at clients.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to contribute to the further growth of the team.
- Preferably a form of certification in one of the following subjects: SAFe, TOGAF, and ITIL.
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Banking, Insurance, Government & Infra, Consumer & Health, Industrial & Energy, and Technology, Media & Telecom.
- Experience in one or more of the following knowledge areas: AI, CIO Advisory, Cloud, and front-to-back transformations.
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.

Our first contact and the first interview: after your application, our recruiter will call for an introductory interview. If the role is a good match, we will schedule a first interview with a colleague from the department. This is a mutual introduction. For the first interview, we ask you to complete an online assessment. Not a standard questionnaire, but a game-based assessment that looks at both your cognitive skills and your behavioral preferences.
The second interview: If we see a match after the first interview and you are still enthusiastic, a second introduction follows. In this interview, we go deeper into the position and other relevant themes, and sometimes a business case also forms part of the procedure. After this, a final interview takes place with a partner from the department.

About the company & team
You will join a close-knit and ambitious team of approximately 65 colleagues. On Fridays, we work together in the office and close the week with a Friday afternoon drink. Additionally, we regularly organize team activities and go on an annual ski trip.
You will work together on impactful projects with strategists, managers, and other experienced professionals, where you can also collaborate with other teams within consulting. Within the team, we work in a matrix structure of chapters and sectors. In chapters, you build in-depth knowledge within themes such as AI, CIO Advisory, Cloud, and front-to-back transformations. You then apply this expertise within specific sectors, such as Banking, Insurance, Government & Infra, Consumer & Health, Industrial & Energy, and Technology, Media & Telecom.
