Requirements

What we're looking for

HBO/WO (Higher Professional/Academic) working and thinking level, preferably in IT, computer science, or a similar field;
At least 5 years of demonstrable experience with IT analysis, technical design, and system integrations;
Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of software development and infrastructure;
Knowledge of integration technologies and communication protocols;
Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP) and web services;
Knowledge of messaging protocols such as JMS, MQTT, HTTP, and FTP;
Knowledge of data formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV;
Experience with integration architectures such as point-to-point and hub-and-spoke;
Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
Experience with POS systems and associated technical integrations is a plus;
Practical attitude and the ability to translate analyses into concrete solutions;
Strong analytical skills and the ability to ask the right in-depth questions;
Good communication skills and the ability to connect different stakeholders;
Experience with stakeholder management and overseeing impact and dependencies;
Agile mindset, independence, and result-orientedness;
Ability to quickly master new subject matter and function effectively in a changing environment.

What you'll do

As an IT Technical Analyst, you are the bridge between the business and technical teams. You analyze technical integrations and processes, translate complex issues into clear solutions, and support the implementation of IT projects. You work closely with architects, developers, administrators, and end users. Within this assignment, you play an important role in realizing new integrations between POS systems and underlying platforms. You provide not only requested, but also unsolicited advice on specifications, approach, and opportunities for improvement, and contribute to future-proof, efficient, and robust IT solutions.

Analyzing technical and functional requirements for POS systems;
Drafting technical documentation and specifications;
Supporting architectural decisions and system design;
Identifying and resolving technical problems;
Testing and validating IT solutions;
Mapping all software systems and processes related to the POS platform (such as PIM, IAM, CRM, and loyalty systems);
Ensuring that requirements are fully elaborated and aligned with various stakeholders;
Translating requirements into efficient and robust solution designs, with a focus on system integrations;
Collaborating intensively with involved IT teams and architects to arrive at effective solutions;
Actively involving stakeholders and guiding the process from development to implementation.
