What we're looking for

Completed HBO or WO education with HBO/WO working and thinking level.
At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as an Epic Owner, Project Leader, or similar role within a complex IT organization.
Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, is required.
Extensive knowledge of the energy market and related chain processes.
Experience with large-scale change trajectories involving multiple organizations or stakeholders.
Knowledge of data architecture, event-driven integration, and data platforms.
Experience with semantic modeling and data standards.
Knowledge of governance, assurance, and compliance issues surrounding data.
Strong ability to translate architectural visions into actionable plans.
Experience with stakeholder management at operational, tactical, and strategic levels.
Strong communicative and connecting skills.
Ability to reduce complex issues to concrete decision-making.
Result-oriented, pragmatic, and organizationally sensitive.
Experience working in an environment with many dependencies and diverse interests.

Nice to have

At least 3 years of experience with SAFe, Leading SAFe, or SAFe Lean Portfolio Management (certification is a plus).
Experience with Jira Align is a plus.

What you'll do

Are you an experienced Epic Owner who effortlessly engages stakeholders, creates support, and drives change? For an organization within the energy sector, we are looking for a senior Epic Owner who will play a key role in the further development of data-driven processes, systems, and products. In this role, you will contribute to innovative solutions regarding data exchange, energy registers, and data services, where reliable, traceable, and future-proof data is central. You will ensure the connection between business, architecture, and IT and guide complex change trajectories within a dynamic environment that is constantly evolving.

Responsible for realizing large-scale changes in the field of data exchange, registers, and data services.
Developing and realizing epics that contribute to a data-driven future and ensure coherence between strategy, architecture, processes, and implementation.
Connecting architects, business stakeholders, and IT teams around shared objectives.
Creating support for changes and mutual agreements within a complex stakeholder environment.
Steering towards the adoption of new data patterns, registers, and exchange mechanisms and guiding the phase-out of legacy solutions.
Safeguarding data quality, governance, semantic consistency, and assurance within change initiatives.
Translating architectural frameworks into concrete roadmaps, features, and implementations.
Guiding organization-wide change trajectories with a focus on collaboration and results.

Aanvullende informatie

Assignment of 32 hours per week.
Start date: 1 December 2026.
Location: on average 2 days per week in Amersfoort and every other week 1 day in Rotterdam.
