  • You are willing to work at multiple locations, including internationally if necessary.

What you'll get

  • 8% holiday allowance and a lease car.
  • A performance bonus linked to your project and personal goals.
  • A good pension scheme and a discount on your supplemental health insurance.

  • A clear 2-year development program towards a leadership position, with plenty of freedom and a steep learning curve.

The role

In two years, you will build a solid foundation for a future role with leadership responsibilities.

What you'll do

In the General Management Traineeship at Eurofins, you will work on four major projects at different locations in the Netherlands for two years. From the very beginning, you will carry responsibility and contribute to operational, commercial, and financial improvements. You will not perform specialist work, but rather work broadly and diversely on projects that directly influence the way Eurofins operates and grows.

You will work with various teams, have frequent contact with stakeholders, and quickly see the results of your work. You will be given plenty of room for initiative and will work in an environment where entrepreneurship is encouraged.

The first project takes place in Barendrecht within the Food, Feed & Water business line, focusing on the coordination and implementation of a new LIMS system. For this, you will work approximately 80% on-site. Subsequent projects will be coordinated with us. These may be in Barendrecht or at other Eurofins locations in the Netherlands. For some projects, you may also work internationally on a temporary basis, such as in France or Germany.

Why this traineeship is unique

  • You will work on four substantive projects, at least two of which are in Business Development and Operations.
  • You will receive real responsibility and contribute to system implementations, the setting up of new business models, and the guidance of acquisitions.
  • Eurofins invests heavily in your development. You will spend approximately 10% of your time on training, coaching by senior management, peer consultation, and other programs to strengthen your leadership.
