First Employee Reception, Pre-treatment and Sample Management (OVM) Manure

For the team Manure & Horti, Eurofins Agro is looking for a First Employee OVM Manure.

Within the department, solid and liquid manure samples are checked, registered, provided with a unique number and weighed using scanners. Subsequently, the samples are pre-treated with automated equipment and prepared for transfer to the next department, where the wet chemical treatment and further analysis are performed. The work has clear peak seasons, during which the number of samples increases significantly. During these peak periods, approximately 19 FTE work within OVM Manure. Outside the peak season, the staffing level is between 7 and 10 FTE.

• Coordinating daily activities within the OVM team;
• Directing based on content and planning;
• Acting as the first point of contact for substantive questions and process agreements;
• Ensuring good cooperation and coordination between departments;
• Identifying bottlenecks in processes and contributing to structural improvements;
• Monitoring progress, quality and results;
• Onboarding (new) employees;
• Performing various tasks for the purpose of sample pre-treatment.

• The willingness to work in a dynamic work environment;
• Someone who loves to get stuck in;
• Communicative skills and a good command of the Dutch language;
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude;
• An eye for quality and accuracy;
• Experience with automated systems and Microsoft Office;
• An enthusiastic personality with a flexible attitude
• A flexible working attitude regarding working hours, such as a 2-shift service and/or working on the weekend. This flexibility is required for approximately three to four months per year and does not apply the entire year.
