MBO Mechatronics Internship – Technical Services

Are you crazy about technology and do you want to learn primarily by doing during your internship? Then this internship at Technical Services is for you. We are looking for an intern starting from February 2027.

As a Mechatronics intern, you will participate as a full member of the team. This means you won't just be shadowing to watch, but you will help your colleagues with the technical tasks that arise daily in the department.

No two days are exactly the same. For example, you might be busy maintaining a machine and in between encounter a malfunction in the laboratory. Together with your colleagues and the operators, you will investigate what is happening and how to solve the problem.

During your internship, you will be involved in, among other things:

• performing maintenance on machines and installations;
• supporting the search for and resolution of technical malfunctions;
• activities in the mechanical, electrotechnical, and control technology fields;
• thinking along about technical improvements;
• working with, among others, pneumatics and control technology;
• performing technical tasks with increasing independence.

You will be given the space to learn a lot from experienced colleagues. As you gain more experience, you will take on tasks increasingly independently.

We are primarily looking for someone who is serious about the profession and truly has a heart for mechatronics. You enjoy investigating technical problems, like to roll up your sleeves, and want to further develop yourself during your internship.

Additionally:

• you are following an MBO level 4 Mechatronics education;
• you are in your 3rd or 4th year of study;
• you can work independently, but also enjoy seeking collaboration with colleagues;
• you are curious and technically minded;
• you like to think along about solutions;
• you have sufficient command of the Dutch language to collaborate well with colleagues.

Of course, you don't need to know everything yet. That is exactly what your internship is for. We find your motivation, technical interest, and willingness to learn more important than a long list of technical skills.
