Are you an experienced laboratory professional who enjoys working independently and taking responsibility? For our location in Drachten, we are looking for an Asbestos Analyst. At this location, you will work in a small team, where you will regularly be independently responsible for the daily execution of analyses. Therefore, we are looking for someone who shows initiative, works accurately, and feels at home in an environment where ownership is central.

For our growing asbestos department in Drachten, we are looking for an Asbestos Analyst who will play an important role in the execution and monitoring of our asbestos analyses. You will investigate and assess asbestos-suspect material samples and SEM samples according to the applicable standards (NEN 5896 and NEN 5898) and ensure correct reporting of the analysis results.

Due to the small-scale setup of the branch, you will receive a lot of responsibility and play an active role in the daily planning, quality monitoring, and progress of activities. 

• Independently performing asbestos analyses in accordance with applicable standards and quality guidelines.
• Point of contact for customers.
• Assessing and reporting analysis results.
• Monitoring quality, lead times, and priorities within the laboratory.
• Identifying deviations and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.
• Acting as a point of contact within the team for operational issues.
• Supporting the guidance and onboarding of new colleagues.
• Actively thinking along about the further development of the location.

Within Eurofins Milieu, approximately 700 colleagues work on the process from sampling to digital reporting of analytical results. A large part of the analyses are carried out in our laboratories in Amsterdam and Amersfoort.
