Assistant Accountant SME - HBO in Utrecht

Right from your start, in September 2026, you can take charge. You will do this by supporting accountants in performing financial analyses, preparing annual accounts, and advising clients in financial matters. You will receive a lot of freedom, responsibility, and client contact, and you will be guided by a permanent mentor within the organization. To do this successfully, we also rely on your accuracy and flexibility when:

• processing the financial administration of various clients and providing support.
• preparing financial statements and the preparation of annual accounts.
• attending lectures on Fridays for your further education as an SME Accountant (post-hbo AA).

To complete the picture:

• from day 1, a buddy will show you the ropes. They are always close by and will answer all your questions.
• a coach and a mentor are ready for you.
• during the Jumpstart, you will receive all the details about starting at BDO. You will follow this program (2 weeks) with other ambitious junior professionals and interns.
