After Sales Manager

As After Sales Manager at AGAM Mercedes-Benz, you are responsible for the entire After Sales organization across multiple locations.

In this role, you hold ultimate responsibility for the performance of the entire After Sales organization. You translate strategic objectives into concrete plans and ensure execution across all locations.

You ensure an organization in which processes are optimally designed, teams function well, and customer satisfaction and profitability go hand in hand.

This requires a leader who switches between strategy and operations, and who is accustomed to managing based on figures, people, and processes.

You are responsible for:

• Achieving strategic and operational objectives within the After Sales organization.
• Optimizing service and logistics processes, through which you ensure customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and deploying key figures to improve performance.
• Safeguarding high quality standards in all processes, activities, and customer experiences.
• Developing and implementing marketing and customer approach measures for the service and parts market.
• Managing, coaching, and developing managers within the after-sales departments, including personnel planning and the appraisal cycle.
• Maintaining contacts with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders, and fellow departments.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental legislation, safety, and compliance.

We are looking for a senior leader who is already familiar with this responsibility and is accustomed to operating at an organizational level. You are able to provide direction, create structure, and lift teams to a higher level.

• You have demonstrable experience within Automotive After Sales,
• You have experience in a similar role,
• You have led larger teams, preferably through multiple layers,
• You are accustomed to managing based on profitability, KPIs, and processes.
• Candidates without relevant Automotive experience will not be considered in the procedure.

What you bring:

• A completed commercial or technical education, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Preferably supplemented with a business economics education.
• Multiple years of experience within automotive After Sales.
• Demonstrable leadership experience in managing teams.
• Experience in customer and supplier contact.
• Knowledge of service, logistics, and workshop processes.
• Experience with DMS/DIMS and relevant software (MS Office).
• Knowledge of laws and regulations (including warranty, health and safety, environment, and CBA).

Your team

You lead multiple After Sales departments spread across different locations (Roelofarendsveen, Leiden, Alphen aan den Rijn, Maasdijk, Naaldwijk, and Den Haag). In total, you are responsible for more than 150 employees, managed via managers (10 direct reports).

You ensure clear structure, development of your team, and effective collaboration between departments. You manage remotely where necessary and are visible when a difference needs to be made. Together, you create a service environment in which quality, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and efficiency are central.
