Relatics Developer

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree, preferably in the direction of (Civil) Engineering, Construction, Technical Business Administration, IT, or Information Management;

• A few years of experience with the technical setup, configuration, and further development of Relatics within a project environment. Experience with functional management and infrastructure projects is a plus;

• Experience with methodologies and working methods in the field of project control and Systems Engineering, preferably within the Dutch infra sector;

• Experience with developing modules and information structures, such as object and requirement structures, relationships, tables, queries, and views. Experience with system connections is a plus;

• Analytical thinking skills; you can quickly grasp processes and information flows, establish connections, and reduce problems to their core;

• You work independently and in a structured manner, set the right priorities, and monitor agreements and deadlines made.

• You communicate clearly with different types of colleagues (from work preparer to systems engineer) and switch easily between technical content and practical explanation.

• The salary for this position is between €4,291.- and €5,364,- gross per month (based on 40 hours)*, excluding 8% holiday allowance. The exact salary depends on your knowledge, level, and work experience.

• On top of salary comes a fixed amount for the Sustainable Employability Budget for things that contribute to staying healthy and motivated (2.3% according to the Bouw & Infra collective labor agreement).

Within Dura Vermeer Infra Division, we are emphatically bringing the setup and management of applications closer to the business. The division includes several operating companies, each with its own work processes and work culture, and therefore its own specific needs. As a Relatics Developer, you will fulfill the role of SE Application Specialist within the Information Management department. This role is two-fold: you act as a functional administrator to manage all requested configuration changes and ensure business continuity within the user group, and additionally, you act as a software developer to add, modify, and remove functionalities approved by the Information Management department.

You are responsible for the functional management, technical setup, continuity, and further development of Relatics. In doing so, you work closely with practice and understand how project managers, work preparers, site managers, environment managers, and engineers use the application. Their wishes are collected, organized, and prioritized within our DevOps environment. Your responsibility is to refine and execute these development tickets. You test and implement changes and monitor that the setup remains stable, uniform, and future-proof.

• You develop and configure Relatics modules for, among other things, requirements management, contract management, and risk management, including the associated structures, objects, relationships, and standard libraries;

• You set up screens, tables, queries, and views and improve them based on project and user needs. In doing so, you monitor uniformity, data quality, and traceability;

• You prepare changes, updates, and releases, test new functionalities, and guide the implementation. In doing so, you analyze both the technical impact and the consequences for work processes;

• Identifying opportunities for improvement in processes and system setup and translating these into concrete solutions;

• You maintain and improve the connections and data exchange with internal systems, such as SharePoint Online, GIS, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and OPC;

• You analyze and resolve second-line reports, document configurations and working methods, and support key users with instructions and short training sessions.
