Do you get energy from developing new residential construction projects and building a relationship network? Do you want to work at a family business with developers, doers, and builders who love creating areas, projects, and buildings where people are healthier and happier? And are you an experienced developer looking for a new challenge and wanting to work on large development projects such as Zuiderlicht in Amstelkwartier Amsterdam, One50 in Amsterdam, and Triplets in Oostenburg Amsterdam? Then Dura Vermeer Bouw & Vastgoed is looking for you!
Do you enjoy turning opportunities from acquisition and tenders into concrete projects? As a developer, you are responsible for and involved in the project from the concept phase to realization. You manage the (further) development of the project, where it is important that you can effectively monitor the feasibility of the project. Additionally, you coordinate the design (team) during the project and monitor quality, project planning, and budget. You also have a steering role on the financial side. Furthermore, you are strong in building and maintaining a network.
In this role, you work closely with, among others, the municipality, architects, structural engineers, designers from the Dura Vermeer Gebiedsstudio ID, investors, and real estate agents. Together with the project team, you ensure that projects are developed, sold, and executed from A to Z, and together you achieve the best result. As a developer, you make the difference by taking responsibility and making every project your own with a commercial and result-oriented attitude. You think out-of-the-box and come up with new initiatives. Through your enthusiasm and clear way of communicating, you know how to advise and convince people. You are a star at planning and have an analytical mindset. You enjoy being involved in the further development of projects and easily seek collaboration with construction colleagues to ensure that our own teams can actually proceed with the building.
In addition to working in a horizontal team, you naturally also work with your professional group, the national VGO community, and all other developers, so that you can exchange knowledge with one another. Team VGO in Amsterdam consists of about 23 colleagues.
Dura Vermeer is an independent family business. And you can notice that. In how we work together, look out for one another, and build with an eye for future generations. Since 1855, we have been building the Netherlands, in residential construction, utility construction, infrastructure, and technology. Our independence and long-term vision form the basis for this.
With a turnover of € 2.6 billion and over 3,700 colleagues, we belong to the top of the Dutch construction sector. But ultimately, it is not about those figures for us. It is about people. About colleagues working together on projects you can be proud of – iconic and close to home – and contributing to solutions for societal issues.
Our ambitions are great. And we only achieve them with committed people. That is why we invest in good employer ship and a work environment in which you feel at home. Where you can be yourself, feel safe, and speak up. So that you get the best out of yourself and make more together with us.
These requirements show the direction of the profile we are looking for in this position. Should you not recognize yourself in all the requirements, but do think this is the position for you? Then we would love to have a conversation with you.
